 Blue Moon..

If you live anywhere in Europe or the Americas, the "blue moon" is coming to a sky near you Saturday. The phenomenon is mainly due to astronomical arithmetic (and a few mix-ups, but we'll get to those later). "It's how the math works out," said Philip Hiscock, a folklorist at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. Hiscock is recognized as an authority on the history and folklore surrounding the phrase "blue moon." The phrase has come to refer to those rare occasions when a second full moon appears within a single calendar month. Why two full moons in a single month? It's because the natural cycle of moon phases doesn't perfectly match up with our human-made calendar. A "blue moon" is no bluer than on any other night. Sunny/Beautiful Saturday
 It hasn't rain for two days in a row now, isn't that great? But it's suppose to rain tomorrow :frog: and according to the weather map in my area (Northeast) it's suppose to rain tomorrow thru Wednesday, it's a wait and see what happens situation..No choice, mother nature has to do what she has to do  It's been boring today, none of my friends were online all day, they must be out shopping, movies, mall, beach or probably just bored also  I saw a couple of them early in the morning and chatted a little bit, but since then they have dissapeared  I hope they are all having fun somehow, I'm not..I'm bored..Going off line for the rest of the day until tomorrow..Have to check out what's on the shopping channels which I just love (QVC and HSN) .. I buy a lot of stuff on both networks..Im trying to find a nice DVD Player, have looked at several but haven't decided yet which one to get, I have to look around some more before I make the big decision on which one will be best..Hope all of you are having a great weekend..See ya'll..ciao

| Excited, Very Excited
Im so excited, Im so excited.. ... I was chatting with Shey, Chipil, Jankar and Jeysa the other day and we had so much fun! We are planning a trip to Europe, can you believe it? All four of us ladies with Jankar? My God, that will be so much fun..Shey said she will fly from California to New Jersey, Chipil and Jeysa will do the same and of course Jankar..We are on the early planning stages still..We haven't pick a date yet but Jankar will pay all the tickets to and from and of course hotel accomodations, etc...Isn't he nice? but I told them that I hoped by then my fear of flying has vanished.. I really hope so. By the way, my week has been great although it has rain cats and dogs here in New Jersey..As of 4:00pm today it hasn't rain but it's suppose to rain again. My weekend
Although my hubby is still sick  ..he drive me nuts.. my weekend was great. I went over my mothers Saturday afternoon to spend some time with her. We talked, joked and had a great time. I came home and the first thing I did was check my kitchen because I felt this great smell, "My hubby, although he is sick, had cooked"..wow, it was wonderful..I had eaten at my mom's, not much..but the food my hubby made was sooooo good, I stuffed myself Sunday (7-11) I knew my mom was coming over to spend the day with me, my brother was going boating with his wife and didn't want to leave her all by herself. She got to my house around 11:00am and they picked her up around 8:00pm, so that was soooo great that she was here with me. While she was here I sat on the comp once in a while. I saw one of my brother's on line and sent him an instant message telling him "mom sends her blessings to you and family", I thought he wasn't going to answer me back since we had not talk in over a year (we really have some family issues that are not pleasant at all) .. well, to my surprise he answered and we started talking about some issues. Im older than him (he is on the web cam with me) and he really listened to me. I asked him many, many questions and he did the same and some issues were solved over IM...He had stop calling my mom also so I told him she is here with me right now, call her on the phone..I gave him my phone number, just in case he had lost it..a few minutes later the phone rang and waited to see who it was, when I heard the caller ID saying his name, God I was so happy!..I talked to him for a little while and joked like old times. He talked to my mom also and told her that he was coming over to see her, 5 minutes later he walked thru my back door (we were in the living room and my back door is always unlocked) yelling "nobody home?"..boy that made my day! and my mom, ufff she even got a little nervous and anxious..They talked for hours and so did I individually in my kitchen while my mom was on the phone with one of my sisters that she hadn't talk in a long long time..We all live close by and so many minsunderstandings between us, it's so sad..I just hope things change between all of us and my brothers and sisters start calling mom often and visit her..She is getting old and has many health issues..and they all know it..Just in case any of my brothers and sisters read this, (I just hope so..) To all of you, my mom needs your love and care, one phone call or 5 minutes visiting with her will make her very happy...My brother an I acted like nothing had never happened, which is good, he even told me "why are you wearing those types of pants and t-shirts"? Like I have to dress like an old lady! we laughed so much..we took some pictures also. I think I have spill all my feelings, etc. here, didn't I? sorry guys/gals, I just had to blog all of this..Don't get too bored with all of this.. Hugs to all. Have a great week

Hectic days but it feels great
 Well I finally got my computer working like when I first bought it.. I cleaned it completely. I've been installing programs, etc. since yesterday morning. Wow do I have space or what? My new hard drive is soooo big My C drive it's almost empy...I'm very happy now. I got rid of lots of junk and still deleting stuff. The only thing I lost was my filing cabinet mail, but thank God I had copied in notepad everything that is very important, serial numbers for my programs, etc. Sooo, the extra hard drive that I have I'm installing it into my other Dell..it's completely empty and brand new. Well, my roses in my backyard are in full bloom, they are just gorgeous..Love them! I will try to make a nice arragement for my table when I have free time, hopefully soon it's just that they look so nice and beautiful where they are that I don't want to hurt them.. I think this is it for today, if I forgot something I will "update" later. Take care everyone and have a nice weekend. Hugs to all and

| Laziness has taken over...
This past weekend was great but since yesterday (Tuesday, July 6th) I've been kind of lazy. I hardly sit in front of my computer. Bored?, probably. Have no idea, there are days I visit lots of sites or just surf all over the internet. I visited Renato's site this morning..he has a new layout which I saw yesterday but I didn't even leave a comment, so I left a comment this morning..He is such a nice guy, I have chatted with him in AIM a few times. He lives in Mexico and is friends with Sheylak. He has his own domain now and is very happy, I'm glad for him. Go visit him and join his portal, leave a comment or sign his guestbook, he will like that very much. Ginny is back from her mini vacation..Welcome back Moonlite! My son got back from Washington DC late Monday night, he had a good time...I've put pictures in my web cam. Hopefully tonight he will format my computer, I bought a bigger hard drive to store all my programs, files, etc. Now, that makes me happy!, I will have lots of space on both hard drives and the computer will run much better :frog: Well I guess this is for now, If I forgot something, I will return to update. | Have a nice week
Thanks to all my visitors and their comments. My weekend has been great. I watched the Washington DC Fireworks and right after that I switched to Channel 4 to watch The Macy's Fireworks Spectacular last night. awww they get better and better each year. The Macy's display lasted over half and hour, that was great..I wished I was there in person.., but I'm not a traffic jams fanatic so the next best choice was to watch them on tv..I could hear all the noise coming from all over in my bedroom. There were people at the park in front of my house with their own fireworks, they were having fun! but the Police keeping a close watch to what was going on, they didn't bother the people in the park and it didn't bother me or my neighbors either..now that's the American Spirit at work. It was raining in Washinton DC but that didn't bother the people there, they were all having fun and enjoying the performances on stage, it was great. It didn't rain in our area at all, beautiful night for the fireworks, but it started raining some time later because when I got up this morning it was drizzling and real cloudy..the sun has been peeking in and out, hope it's a nice Monday..Hope all of you went to see the fireworks in your area or at least watched on tv...have a great day everyone.
